The adventures of mango dealers in Russia began with the "Super Mango" shake bar in St. Petersburg. A promising start, grandiose plans, modern technologies allowed doing business remotely, but the mango that the market offered was not sweet enough for shakes + constant supply problems.
Our #1 goal was to find the best mango available 12 months a year. What we were looking for grew in Cairo. Natural sweet, juicy mango variety "Zebdeya".
It would seem - here it is! Only a high-quality product without the addition of sugar and flavor enhancers caused potential investors not to delight, but to fear. They can be understood: the modern consumer is accustomed to chemistry. But we were unstoppable. The world should know and taste the Zebday mango. With this message, Fresh Import was born.
Let's develop ourselves! The first sales channel is a personal Instagram account. In half a day, we booked one and a half (!) Tons. People who wanted to buy mangoes broke direct, cut off phones.
We were confident in the quality of the mango, but no one expected such a stir.
A couple of days later, word of mouth started working - you can’t come up with a more sincere and honest advertisement. In the first month, 7 tons of mangoes were sold in our native Novosibirsk!
In six months, we have established production, solved logistics issues and today we deliver mangoes to more than 50 cities in Russia directly from Egypt, from our own endless plantations. Since 2019, the geography of Fresh Import has been actively expanding.
In the fall of 2022, we opened a representative office in Kazakhstan and began to supply sweet juicy mangoes there.
Large frozen wedges start to advertise themselves as soon as you open our branded package.
Amazing tropical aroma, soft creamy texture of the pulp and that same sweet-juicy vacation taste.
We have achieved goal number 1: our mangoes are recommended and eaten with pleasure, they talk about us, they trust us.
